Welcome to the 2023 meeting of the Australian Society for Mechanobiology! This year's meeting promises to be an exciting event for researchers, clinicians, and industry leaders interested in the intersection of  biology, physics, and bioengineering. Join us for a dynamic program featuring presentations from world-renowned experts in the field, as well as opportunities for networking and collaboration with peers. Our conference topics will cover a broad range of areas, including molecular and cellular mechanobiology, tissue mechanics, and the application of mechanobiology to disease diagnosis and treatment. Student Travel Award:
The Travel Award is designed to provide support for PhD students to attend this meeting.
This award covers the registration fee and offers a reimbursable of up to $500 in travel support.
To apply for the Travel Award, please submit the following documents in one combined PDF file:

  • Letter of recommendation from your supervisor endorsing your involvement in the field of Mechanobiology and confirming your eligibility for this award.

Dependent-Care Grant:
We are pleased to offer the Dependent-Care Grant, a reimbursable allowance of up to $1,000, to assist one of our members in managing the cost of dependent care while presenting their research at our annual meeting.
